TIMESTAMPS

00:00 – INTRO

00:39 – UTILITY

On this lesson, we will go over setting up Quantower and “know how” to use it, such as:

Connecting brokers

Adding templates/binds

Session manager

Overall features

Quantower is very similar to ATAS for its features, and Exo for its visuals/UI. However, it does have some advanced features and tools that are excellent for trading.

The Auto Volume feature was one of the main attractions and the UI is very sleek & modern, similar to Exocharts.

You don’t have to switch platforms, but having good options is always beneficial.

For an added discount, you can use the following partnership link to register for Quantower:

Once installed, launch and login to get access to all features.

02:55 – IMPLEMENTATION

To connect your broker, click Connections and select the broker from the list. You can also select the star to save favorites that will be shown on the bar.

Once you have entered your broker details, click connect and you will have the standard workspace. It is recommended you use the templates and binds shared on the Chart Champions vault for a pre-configured workspace.

To do this, copy the “templates” folder from the vault and paste it into the Quantower folder, where you have just installed it. Make sure you close Quantower before doing so.

Now re-open Quantower and all templates and binds will be available to load from the templates panel.

For the sessions set up and overall features, we will go over this in detail in the portion of the video to come.

The following topics will be covered:

1. Sessions manager

2. Default accounts/symbols

3. Data latency limit

4. Loading, creating and saving templates/binds

5. Link charts with colors

6. Tick size, clusters and abbreviations

48:17 – TIPS & TRICKS

★ Create binds and sync with the same color on the watch list, so when you select an asset, all charts change at the same time.

★ Pre-save an exit strategy for each asset you trade regularly, this makes it quick to apply for fast order management.

★ Save and name fibs/drawings/lines/boxes, etc. for quick level marking with the option to make objects global.

★ Use copy trader to copy trade across all your accounts, it is easy to set up with two clicks.

★ On Futures expiry, use the Futures Rollover tool to roll over all assets to a new month contract based on volume.
